The Royal Trail Run will ba a 5k trail run and will start near Forrester Farm Trail Head. In an effort o try to "thin" the racers before entering the trails we will take the 8' wide asphalt trail around the two ball fields. We will then enter the trail at the a parking lot closest to the ball fields. We will race through fairly level, smooth trails, that are wide enough to pass. The race will be an out and back race, but we will travel around a mile in the woods, then enter another 8' wide asphalt trail. While on this 8' wide trail we will loop and go back to where we began.

The trails are mostly covered and will make for a nice tree covered shady run on a hot day, and if it rains the trees will provide some cover for protection against a downpour. Rain will make the trail a much more challenging race, but the surrounding sites should make it a great adventure no matter the weather.

Register early for the best deal, and look on the registration page for discounts. You may even want to check out your school track club / team to see if they can offer incentives for running. Be sure to watch this website for all updates as we get closer to race time.
